Why Work with a Tutor?
The purpose of our tutoring support services is to help students help themselves. By becoming independent learners, students improve their self confidence and performance.
We offer additional support in the following areas:
a. Writing (all levels and including grammar, comprehension, spelling)
b. Essay/research paper development
c. History (United States, European, World)
d. Economics
e. Study skills/executive functioning (middle and high school, college)
f. Math through Algebra I
g. Spanish 1 & 2
We check on our students’ progress between tutoring sessions to encourage focus and staying on task.
Tutoring sessions are available in person or virtually, during daytime and evening hours.
Rates start at $50/hour, with sibling discounts available.
