Description

Planning, Focus, and Study Skills is a 15-week course designed to help students develop the habits, strategies, and thinking skills necessary for academic success and lifelong learning. Rather than focusing on content alone, this course teaches students how to plan effectively, manage their time and attention, take meaningful notes, read actively, prepare for assessments, and stay focused in an increasingly distracting world. Students will learn how to break tasks into manageable steps, overcome procrastination, and study in ways that lead to real understanding rather than stress or burnout. Appropriate for both middle and high school students, this course equips learners with practical tools they can use across all subjects—and well beyond the classroom.

Cost:  $350/student

Schedule:  Mondays 10 – 11:15 AM January 11 – April 26, 2027 (15 weeks)
